Sport 2002
In 2002, Serpell was proud to be presented with the Eastern Region Award for Outstanding Achievement in Physical Education and Sport. District finals were won in:

The Mixed Netball Team, coached by Tracey Hogel, was successful for the third consecutive year in winning the state final. Several students competed through to the state and national championships in athletics, cross country and basketball.
